Samsung's New Mobile Samsung Galaxy Golden I9230 Released

Samsung unveiled its new flip model mobile Samsung Galaxy Golden. This new version features both a touch screen which is 3.7 inches and when you flip it, the numeric keypad appears along with another 3.7 inches screen on the inside. That means it features two screens This mobile has some pretty decent specs which are quite similar to many mid ranged mobile phones.

It has two Super AMOLED 3.7 inch displays with 480 X 800 pixels resolution at nearly 251 pixels per inch. It has 1.7 GHz MSM8930 Pro dual core processor accompanied by 1.5 GB RAM. It runs on the latest Android JellyBean 4.2.2 over Samsung's TouchWiz



The rear end boars a 8 mega pixel camera capable of shooting HD videos and a 1.9 mega pixel front facing camera for video calling support.



Both touch screens can perform the application launch and handling. It also features features easy modes like Piezo receiver which is a kind of distance calculator (not sure about full specifications), large fonts, large keypad and many more.

The mobile weighs around 179 grams with dimensions 59.5 X 115 X 15.8 mm.


Battery capacity is 1820 mAh. Internal memory is 16 GB and is expandable up to 64 GB with micro SD card.

It also has some decent multimedia support. It supports videos like Xvid, WMV, MP4, DivX etc. Audio support include MP3, WAV, AC3, MIDI, eAAC+ and FLAC.

Presently this mobile (Samsung Galaxy Golden I9230) is available in India through Flipkart at a price of 49,900 INR.
