How to Root Samsung Galaxy Gear

Here is a quick guide for rooting Samsung Galaxy Gear.

Please proceed with caution because rooting will void warranty of your device. 

I am in no way responsible if you get any errors or faulty out comes.





Before you proceed you need to download specific set of drivers and softwarea. 


1) Download and install the ADB drivers for the device from the official Samsung site. 


2) Download the rooting tool, Cydia Impactor to root the device.
3) Now connect your device to PC/laptop and enable USB Debugging.

4) Extract the contents from downloaded Cydia Impactor file and run the Impactor application. Click on start.

Note: If you get any pop ups in the Gear like "install the app" or "enable unknown sources" proceed as prompted.

5) That's it your device is finally rooted. You can see SuperSU app on your device. Open it and check for root access.
