Meizu M5s Released

Meizu has announced it's new phone Meizu M5s which is the successor of M5. It is a budget phone offering some good features. It is currently available in China and yet there is no official announcement regarding it's availability in India and other global markets. It is available in two variants, 16 GB and 32 GB with an expected price of 8,000 INR and 10,000 INR respectively.



Meizu M5s has a 5.2 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels which means the display is a HD display and not a full HD display. It is powered by 64 bit 1.5 GHz Mediatek processor accompanied by 3 GB of RAM.

The phone has a hybrid dual sim slot which means the secondary sim card slot can be used for memory card. The phone is 8.1 mm thick and weighs around 138 grams. The battery capacity is 3000 mAh and has support for fast charging. The company claims it can charged from 0 to 20% in 10 minutes. Below the home button there is mTouch finger print scanner.





The primary camera is a 13 megapixel shooter with dual tone LED flash. The camera has a 5P lens and f/2.2 aperture. The secondary camera is a 5 megapixel camera and both the cameras can record in full HD.


Considering it's price Meizu M5s is an excellent phone in this category and is far better than overly priced HTC A9S and also good than Oppo A57.
