Moto G5 and G5 Plus Full Specs Leaked

With the great success of Moto G4 and G4 plus, the mobile tech giant Motorola is preparing to release it's upgraded mid ranged budget phone the Moto G5 and G5 plus. There were many leaks and rumors before but an online retail store has leaked full specs and features along with images except for the pricing.






According to the leaks, both Moto G5 and G5 Plus looks decent built and circular design with metallic rim which accommodates both camera and LED flash with Motorola branding below. The power and volume rocker are on right side and the home button or just a finger print sensor can be seen below the display. It is unclear whether the home button is just a finger print sensor without any other functionalities as seen in G4.


Moto G5 and G5 Plus Features:

Moto G5 features a 5 inches full HD screen with corning gorilla glass protection. Whereas G5 plus has a 5.2 inch display which is also a full HD display. Both mobiles have a 13 a megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front facing camera.



While both mobiles have dual nano sim card slots and both support VoLTE. There is separate micro SD card slot and thankfully they did not opt for a hybrid sim card slot. Moto G5 is 9.5 mm thick and weighs 145 grams while the G5 plus is 7.9 mm thick and weighs 155 grams. The difference is due to battery capacities, 2800 mAh and 3000 mAh respectively. Both support fast charging.


Moto G5 is powered by 1.4 GHz Snapdragon Octa Core 430 SoC while G5 Plus is powered by 2 GHz Snapdragon Octa Core 430 SoC. But both have 2 gigs of RAM. It is unclear whether they are water resistant certified or not but they have water repellant coating. Both the mobiles are available in two colors, lunar and fine gold.

Although the online retailer who leaked these specs did not mention anything about prices, it is expected to be s mid ranged budget phone as Moto G4 and G4 Plus.
