Xioami Mi6: Specs and Features
The most anticipated Xiaomi Mi6 is out and it has killer features. Though the mobile is available in a limited edition, it has some spectacular features which will compete with many flagship phones that have been released in 2017. With almost half of the price compared to flagship phones, will this phone climbs up in users' view? Lets find out.
As rumored previously there are no two variants of Xiaomi Mi6 (Rumored as Mi6 and Mi6 Plus) as of now. The Mi6 has top notch features and beautifully is designed. It is made of ceramic body and weighs little bulky at 168 grams. The display is a 5.15 IPS LCD Display with a resolution of 1080 X 1920 at 424 pixels per inch.
The bottom of the screen has physical home button which also has fingerprint sensor. The navigation keys are on either side of the home button and are backlit. There is no head phone jack but they included USB Type C port for both charging and ear phones.
The phone comes with internal memory of 128 GB with no expandable memory option. It has a 3350 mAh battery with quick charge support. Though the company claimed the phone to be splash resistant, it is not IP67 or 68 certified.
The main camera is dual camera with two 12 megapixel shooters with dual LED flash. The first camera has 27 mm focal length, 1.25 um pixel size, f/1.8 aperture and Optical image stabilization (OIS). Whereas the second camera has 52 mm focal length, 1.0 um pixel size and f/2.6 aperture. The camera has 2X optical zoom feature while you take photos. But this feature is not available for video recording. The secondary camera is a 8 megapixel shooter can record in full HD.
The Xiaomi Mi6 is packed with great power. It has 2.45 GHz Octa core Snapdragon 835 processor with 6 Gigs of RAM and Adreno 540. It is said that they will release another variant with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. But the ceramic phone has the top end features. It should handle all day to day activities along with heavy gaming or multimedia without any major glitches.
Xiaomi Mi6 comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat over MIUI 8. It is priced at nearly 25,000 INR in Indian market which is less than half of the price of many flagship phones that were launched in this year.
