Yalu Jailbreak

Yalu Jailbreak is the first jailbreak for iOS 10. Renounced hacker Luca Todesco released this jailbreak for limited devices which supports 64-bit devices. Yalu Jailbreak supports iOS 10.0.1 -10.1.1 and 10.2 devices. iPhone 7 and 7 plus cannot be jailbroken if you are on iOS 10.2 or up. This jailbreak is unstable and supports a minimum number of tweaks and apps that can be installed through Cydia.

The initial release of the jailbreak supports iOS 10.0.1 which supports all 64-bit devices along with iPhone 7 and 7 plus. Later Luca Todesco released more stable version which supports iOS 10.2 but not iPhone 7 and 7 plus. This jailbreak tool is based on the Ian Beer extra_recipe exploit developed with help of Macro Grassi.

Note that jailbreak will cause irreversible damages if misused. You may experience some errors, freezes, and malfunctioning of the device. We are not responsible for any kind of damages incurred. Proceed at your own risk.

JAILBREAK iOS 10.0.1 – 10.1.1

·             Open Cydia impactor you have downloaded onto your computer.
·             Connect your iDevice to PC with USB. Once connected, Cydia Impactor will recognize the device in the drop down list.

·             Select the Yalu Jailbreak IPA file which you have downloaded, drag and drop onto the Cydia Impactor.
·             Enter your Apple id and password when prompted and wait for the process to continue.
·             Once the process is finished, you will see Yalu app on your device home screen.
·             Before executing the Yalu app on your device, you must first ‘Trust’ the developer profile. For that go to Settings – General – Profiles and ‘Trust’ the app you have installed with your Apple id and password.
·             Once ‘Trusted’ open the Yalu app and tap on ‘Go’ to start the jailbreak process. Make sure you have sufficient charging on your device and do not touch your device until the process is finished.
·             After successfully jailbreaking, your device will reboot and you will see Cydia app on your device home screen.
·             Congratulations, you have successfully jailbroken your device.

JAILBREAK iOS 10.2:

The procedure is same as for iOS 10.0.1 – 10.1.1 except the fact that you have to check for the supported devices. Rest assured, you need not follow a different procedure to jailbreak your iDevice running on iOS 10.2.

NOTE:
You can not jailbreak iOS 10.3 or above using Yalu Jailbreak. Refrain yourself from using this method on iOS 10.3 or above to avoid unnecessary risks.

This jailbreak is a semi untethered jailbreak. You will lose the jailbreak once you restart the device. So you need to re-jailbreak again if you have rebooted your device. You cannot install Cydia tweaks that require a reboot. Cydia will crash if you do so. You can try Cydia tweaks that just restart the springboard but still, the consistency of Cydia app is uncertain.

Yalu app will expire after 7 days if you are using a free Apple id. If you have a developer/paid Apple id, it will expire after one year. Note that only Yalu app will expire but not Cydia and your jailbreak will remain intact unless you reboot your device. So if you want to re-jailbreak your device you need to install Yalu app again as described above.
