WhatsApp is the worlds largest messaging app with over 1.5 billion users (as of December 2017). With the increased number of users, there is an increased risk of spam messages or forwarded messages. Some messages are being forwarded to many individual users or groups without checking its authenticity. To prevent circulation of such messages, WhatsApp has introduced a new feature update to keep a check on the spam content.
